My customers login through my public website to their own private site where they can view their equipment list, repair history (active and past jobs), and estimate history. My competitors have nothing of the sort.

In most cases your website hangs out on the web waiting for customers and potential customers to happen along and read something about your company that will hopefully help them to want to (or to continue to) do business with you.

Have you ever wondered, though, if it could accomplish something more? Have you ever realized that the Internet is a powerful medium though which you can communicate not only sales and marketing information, but actual, real-live work information about their accounts?

While most of your smaller, residential-type customers won't care about being able to log into your website and view their equipment repair history, your commercial customers — especially ones with multiple pieces of equipment will be just the opposite.
